Introduction

Le corps a besoin de certaines substances, certains nutriments, éléments essentiels à son bon fonctionnement et sa survie. Ces besoins sont couvert par l’alimentation, en effet, une bonne nutrition est essentielle pour avoir un corps sain. Néanmoins, il est possible que des produits viennent apporter au corps ces éléments en compléments d’une bonne alimentation, c’est ce qu’on appelle des compléments alimentaire et ceux-ci peuvent être utilisés à des fins différentes.

Certains compléments sont utilisés pour la performance :

• Les protéines en poudre regroupent différentes source de protéine telle que la très populaire whey, la caséine ou encore l’hydrolyse. Elles sont utiles afin d’atteindre son total calorique journalier si cela est trop compliqué.

• La caféine peut être bonne pour augmenter ses performances (elle est présente dans la plupart des pré workout) ou diminuer la fatigue.

• La créatine quant à elle est présente naturellement dans le corps, c’est l’un des substrats majoritairement utilisé pour les efforts anaérobique alactique. Il est le supplément le plus testé scientifiquement et aux effets positifs incontestables.

• La citrulline Malate aide pour la performance particulièrement pour les pratiquants d’haltérophilie ou de sprint, elle augmente la production d’énergie et diminue la production d’acide lactique. Néanmoins, certaines études montrent des bénéfices tandis que d’autres montrent un effet nul.

D’autres compléments sont utiles pour la santé du sportif et un fonctionnement optimal de son corps :

• Une multivitamine a faible dose aura des effets bénéfiques sur le long terme d’un point de vue santé, néanmoins, si vous suivez nos recommandations en termes de fruits, légumes et aliments riche en micro nutriments, la plupart des besoins seront couvert. Il n’en reste pas moins un complément à privilégier lors d’une sèche compte tenu des faibles apports inhérents à ce régime.

• La vitamine D3 est liposoluble. C’est une des vitamines les plus carencée dans la population. Un manque peut causer de l’ostéoporose, un cancer ou autres maladies peu agréable.

• L’oméga 3 a de nombreux effets bénéfiques sur la santé et est intéressante en cas d’apport faible en poisson.

• Les BCAA comprennent trois acides aminés essentiels, leucine, valine et isoleucine. Décriés ces derniers temps elles restent néanmoins un bon allié du sportif. Il est conseillé d’en prendre pendant la séance pour éviter le catabolisme musculaire. Avant et après un entraînement on préférera des sources de protéines complètes.

• Les EAA sont l’ensemble des acides aminés essentiels. Ils ont des effets bénéfiques supérieurs aux BCAA, elles restent néanmoins inférieures à une source de protéine complète.

• Les glucides de l’effort regroupent différentes formes de glucides comme le dextrose ou la maltodextrine. Ils peuvent être un allié lors d’efforts intenses ou dans des périodes de fatigue importantes afin de supporter ses entraînements et mieux récupérer.
